Payne, the Pacific Northwest's leading performer of magical motifs is now offering a marvelous macabre show based on the literary works of Edgar Allen Poe.
Payne's performance pays tribute to this uniquely American author with a series of puzzling illusions drawn directly from the pages of Poe's writings. Five solid steel rings mysteriously link and unlink while a verse set in the style of the Raven is recited. The dangers of a Premature Burial are illustrated and two lucky members of the audience will attempt to match wits with that Master of Ratiocination C. Auguste Dupin as they attempt to deduce the location of the Purloined Letter. These are but a few of the mysterious and un-earthly marvels that the audience will witness in this unique and engaging presentation. |
